What are other Whitman Alumni saying about working with Tim Lenihan?
"Tim was fantastic. My wife and I were first-time home buyers and had no idea what to do. Tim walked us through it so we understood the whole process. He really listened to what we wanted and helped us find the home we were looking for. His knowledge of the area, his use of data in understanding the market, and his experience negotiating deals was very impressive to see in action. Knowing that he was connected to Whitman and Walla Walla — and was friends with people I graduated with — helped us feel immediately at ease and made it possible for us to entrust him with the biggest financial commitment of our lives. We're glad we did! I'd recommend Tim to anyone looking to buy a home."

"Tim Lenihan is a Whittie, and that would be sufficient credential for the rest of us to know what his character, values, and professionalism is like. While our previous agents told us of all the things that would require us to lower our asking price, Tim told us what specific strategies he was going to pursue to ensure our interests were protected. From there on Tim went to battle for us! Through all the constant and necessary communication he was even-keel, never failed to provide us with good and bad news, took care of many details in the background, and helped us make the right decisions along the way.
He was prompt, sincere, and hard-working, and we felt that he was constantly and relentlessly on our side. Tim took care of all inspection items, negotiated terms with the buyers’ agents in very realistic terms, and even took care of some of the small repairs after the sale closed. Throughout the process we as sellers felt a step ahead of the buyers, even in a strong buyers’ market in Seattle. Tim instills confidence that regardless of conditions in the real estate market, having the right team and representation is the key to coming ahead."

Tim Lenihan–what a guy, and what an agent! We were acquaintances from Whitman and when the opportunity arose for me to buy my first property, I figured the Whitman connection was worth taking advantage of. As a rookie in the real estate market, Tim was great at educating me on the ins and outs of property hunting. He worked really hard to meet my requests for location, price, and property features, even while under a tight timeline. I felt really confident in the purchase of my condo knowing that I had Tim's approval. Even years later, the check-ins and Christmas cards are such a lovely touch, and a nice way of feeling connected to the Lenihan family! I would happily recommend Tim to anyone searching for an exceptionally hard working and talented agent!

"I really can't say enough good things about working with Tim. I know how busy he must be, but he always made me feel like I was his #1 priority throughout my home buying experience from the first house we looked at until closing. Being a first time homebuyer, I was pretty much clueless to the whole process. Tim's patience and detailed knowledge of the innerworkings were invaluable to me and ultimately led me to my perfect house. I came away from the experience feeling like I won and can't thank Tim enough for everything he did. I will use him again the next time I'm in the market and would recommend (and have) him to anyone looking for an agent."

"I closed on my first home in June 2010, and Tim made the process easy, fun, and completely painless. It all started over a glass (or a couple bottles…) of wine when I casually told him I was thinking of buying a place, and to keep me in mind if he saw anything cool pop up. He recommended that I get pre-approved, just so he would know what range to consider, and within a month after that conversation I was under contract.
Tim and I were friends at Whitman through the Greek system, and mostly saw each other during parties or functions. This of course meant I saw him in casual clothes, athletic clothes, and many various costumes. When I was looking at houses there was one conversation we had that still sticks in my mind. We had looked at a couple places and were scheduling another window of time that happened to be on a Saturday. Tim, in nice work clothes and probably a tie, said with a wrinkled brow: “Well, Saturday is totally fine with me, but I hope you don’t mind if I wear jeans”. It was that moment (plus a few others along the way) that showed me how seriously Tim took me as a client. In spite of a close friendship, he was completely in “business mode” anytime we worked together.
As any first-time buyer would, I had many questions along the way and Tim was there the whole time. When he picked me up for appointments he would hand me a binder of every place we were planning to see that day with all pertinent info and photos included. We wrote multiple offers during my search, and his position through each of those was aggressive without being pushy. He had my best interests in mind; never focusing just on the end goal of closing a deal."
